Streetheart, the quirky gender-fluid festival on the Kerkstraat, is back on Saturday afternoon, September 14, for its third edition.
A collaboration of Club ChUrch, Stichting Gala and the Kerkstraat Business Association, this kooky little festival has in a short time already built up a loyal fan base.
ChUrch star DJs Moog, Meester, Priszilla and Pineapple Project join the House of Hopelezz drag troupe for a “kids and family friendly” afternoon. This year the House of Hopelezz will present the world premier debut of their brother house, the House of Lost Bois, Holland’s first Drag King house.
At 7 p.m. is the annual “Gender Fluid Streetheart 2019” competition, last year won by the dashing Niels on Heels. A star-studded jury this year will be headed by special guest judges Louise & Martine Fokkens, a.k.a the Ouwehoeren (the “old whores”).
Dress code is pink, blue or white and there’s a clothing corner where you can slip on a frock and heels or a fake mustache.
As the sun goes down, the kids get safely tucked into bed and the party moves inside to Club ChUrch from nine o’clock for the sexier version till late.
Saturday, September 14, 2019, 13:00 till 21:00 free entry, 21:00 till late in ChUrch €12.50, Kerkstraat 46-59 (near corner Leidsestraat)
