Have you ever seen the Rozenkoor perform? Why not take the next step and join! The Rozenkoor is an GLB choir in Amsterdam, founded in 1992.
The choir consists of about twenty-five men and women and sings four-part songs. These range from classic to pop, from sad to happy, from understated to exuberant, from English to Russian. The one time a capella, other times with piano accompaniment. Together, the members of the Choir strive for the highest musical level. The performances are supported in a tasteful way with visual aspects, which are conceived by the creative commission.
The Rozenkoor in a nutshell:
* Singing and fun;
* Classical and pop music;
* Old-fashioned and trendy;
* Sparkling performances at home and abroad.
Both the music and the social aspect are important to the members of the Rozenkoor. Everyone who has joined the choir feels at home and have their voices heard, and (if he or she likes) can get-together after rehearsals.
Interested? Why don’t you pay us a visit? Potential members are welcome to join three rehearsals free of charge before they decide whether to become members.
The Rozenkoor rehearses every Sunday evening in the building of the “Buurt en Speeltuinvereniging Amsterdam Zuid.”
Update: there is also place for a conductor, check out the website for more information.
